Florida
While I was born and raised in Missouri, I spent almost 7 years of my adult life in Florida! During my early years in Marketing, I decided I was ready for a change and I decided to move to Fort Myers, FL in February of 2017. I had only been to Florida once before making this decision, and that was to visit my cousin when she was living in Tampa. I visited the Fort Myers area in January 2017, to look at apartments and get a feel for the area, and then moved the following month. After two years in Florida full-time, I decided to try the snowbird life; I spent 3 months in Missouri during the summers and the rest of the year, especially winters, in Florida. Gradually, I started spending more time in Missouri than Florida, to be closer to family. Eventually I “officially” moved back, but part of my heart is stuck in Florida and I visit regularly.
